Environmental protection and social commitment have been anchored in our corporate philosophy for many decades. In order to recognise future challenges for companies as well as the growing and changing requirements for sustainability at an early stage, we established a "Sustainability Task Force" in the year 2011.
Our task force comprises three members of staff from different specialist departments. At monthly meetings, the members exchange views on sustainability issues, discuss new ideas and proposals, and define the sustainability objectives. With the task force, we want to integrate the idea of sustainability Germany-wide in the locations and affiliated companies, as well as encourage our employees to act with sustainability in mind.
