

The Piepenbrock Group has been an owner-managed, family-run business since it was established in 1913 – now in the hands of the fourth generation. In our entrepreneurial activities, we have at all times been guided by firm values and the notion of sustainability.
In the meantime, with our many years of experience, we are among the leading building service providers Germany-wide. The basis of our company success has always been our employees as well as the trust of our customers in the quality of our services. We repay this trust with our high service quality, our reliability and customer orientation. It is our aim to establish long-term partnerships with our customers. A prerequisite for this is their satisfaction.
Our entire entrepreneurial activities are based on the principles of our Code of Conduct. It confirms our intention to carry out our economic tasks in line with ethical and legal guidelines. Our Code of Conduct comprises nine principles and rules with regard to responsible entrepreneurial activity. The content meets the requirements of national and international standards which the entire group of companies and each individual employee must comply with during all business activity.


As confirmation of our sustainable and stakeholder-oriented commitment and activity, we have received various awards in the last few years. We regard these successes as an obligation for the continued future positive development of our company.

In 2025, EcoVadis, one of the leading providers of sustainability ratings, awarded us the platinum medal for our commitment to sustainability. We were assessed in four categories: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.

For the fifth time in a row, Piepenbrock received the “Most Popular Family Business” seal of quality in 2025. According to a survey conducted by the business magazine FOCUS-MONEY in collaboration with DEUTSCHLAND TEST, Piepenbrock is one of the most popular family businesses in Germany. As one of 13 companies in Lower Saxony and 150 companies nationwide to receive this award, Piepenbrock scores highly in terms of continuity, customer satisfaction, and employee development – important factors in the company's success for over 100 years.
The survey was based on the list “Top 1,000 – The largest family businesses” published by the business magazine “Die Deutsche Wirtschaft” . Additional criteria were also taken into account, such as a turnover of at least 35 million euros or direct contact with end customers. A nationwide online survey collected and evaluated a total of 127,604 consumer opinions on the companies. Based on their experiences, participants gave ratings ranging from “excellent” to “poor.”

In 2024, we received the “Top National Employer” award for the tenth time. It is awarded by the news magazine Focus in collaboration with the research institute FactField. The award is based on a survey of 338,000 employees and the analysis of online reviews of over 35,000 employers. The ranking is composed of the average rating and the number of ratings from these two data sources.

Once again, we received the Best Managed Companies Award in 2025 – for the seventh year in a row. The annual competition is run by Deloitte Private, UBS, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (business magazine) and the Confederation of German Industry. It honours companies for strategic far-sightedness, innovative power, a sustainable management culture and exemplary business management.

The German Private Institute for Sustainability and Economy honoured us once again in the year 2025 with the "Ensured Sustainability" seal of approval, thus confirming our competence in the area of sustainability.

The Osnabrück – Emsland – Bentheim county Chamber of Commerce and Industry honoured us in the year 2024 with the "Top Training Organisation" award for the third time, which is valid until 2027. After a multi-stage selection process, we received the seal of approval for our outstanding training opportunities, events, and initiatives such as the applicant information evening and the buddy program, as well as our excellent employment opportunities.

The ratings platform kununu honoured us as an "Open Company". In doing so, the company acknowledges our willingness to enter into dialogue with users and the active call to employees and applicants to rate our company on kununu. We also received the "Top Company" award, certifying our positive company rating.


30 years of sustainability management and "Piepenbrock Goes Green", 10 years of "Growth" campaign and sponsorship with Plan International Deutschland – our year 2020 is dominated by sustainability. We will be celebrating!
